Legendary Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, the about busy Olympian of all time, was arrested early Tuesday in Maryland on a DUI charge, co-ordinate to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

The officer followed the vehicle onto northbound I-95, through the tunnel and stopped the State Rover just across the tunnel's toll plaza.

The 22-time Olympic medalist was identified as the commuter by his commuter's license and appeared to exist under the influence, the argument said.

Previous run-ins with the law
